Why Fingerless Gloves Remind me of Oliver Twist
Fingerless Gloves CHECK OUT OUR WRIST WARMERS & FINGERLESS GLOVES Fingerless gloves immediately make me think of Fagan in Oliver Twist, counting money feverishly like the miser he was. The style brought to mind would be black knitted ones but with half fingers and not actually fingerless. So that's an immediate contradiction right there. It sounds as though I might stick my nose up at the mere mention of 'fingerless gloves' but in actual fact I always have a black pair knocking about. I don't know exactly why I got my first pair but it was when I was in...
The Fingerless Gloved Women Tribe
'Fingerless Gloves Women' It reads like the name of a tribe but it is a phrase in typical search term format. As is, 'fingerless gloves men'. 'Gloves without fingers', or whatever you call them are very popular these days. It has occurred to me that fingerless gloves and wool fingerless gloves in particular are particularly suited to particular climates. I imagine you might want more of the full finger gloves if you live in Canada or Scandinavia. The more northerly the place most likely the bigger the hand protection needed. Ireland Has a Temperate Cimate Yes, Ireland enjoys what they...
Handmade Wedding Cards are 'De Rigueur' at the moment!
Handmade wedding cards seem to be 'de rigueur' at present and I am all for it. I don't know when it happened but somewhere along the line I realised the value of handmade items. I suppose it comes from never being what you would call rich though I have been rich in many ways that are not measured financially. It occurred to me that I could have anything I wanted if I simply made it, used something in a different way, which we now term 're-purposing', swopped it or up-cycled it or indeed bought it second hand. Re-using or recycling...

Beautiful Handmade Birthday Cards ***************** Who doesn't love getting beautiful birthday cards? These days you would be forgiven for thinking it could be a rare thing to send or receive a birthday card with all the digital equipment we surround ourselves with. However, you would be incorrect in your assumption. People still love to get birthday cards it seems. I suppose it has to do with the fact someone takes the time out from everything else that vies for their attention to actually chose an appropriate card for you. For then to write it and send it or give it to...
Pendants and Medallions are King
Medallion Man I remember as a child in the 70s running around wearing my mam's fake gold medallion shouting 'medallion man, medallion man'. Then falling around in stitches laughing while playing air guitar on an old tennis racket, which would also double up as a frying pan sometimes, by the way. The medallion back then conjured up images of a 70's, American flare wearing hippy with sideburns, shades, big hair and the quintessential 70's attribute, a big hairy chest. This was hysterical to us as kids though I'm sure it held it's attractions to the equal and opposite female of...
